Mental Health Mondays

We highlight Black contributions to the mental health movement because they are often overlooked. Without recognizing the lack of representation of Black people in the mental health movement, we do a disservice and continue to inflict harm.

Black Americans are more likely to experience anxiety, depression, and other symptoms of emotional distress than white Americans, yet they’re also less likely to receive treatment.
