Terms and Guidelines

Please be sure to read all guidelines before signing:

Event Setup: Event setup will begin promptly at 8am. All vendors must be set up no later than 8:55 am no one will be allowed to set up after this time.

Event Breakdown: Event Breakdown will begin no earlier than 3pm. Vendors are responsible for cleaning up their own areas prior to leaving.

Parking

  • Vendors can drop off at the front door and must park on the street
  • Parking provided in the parking lot will be reserved for customer parking
  • The roped off section in front of the building will be reserved for the food trucks
  • Please be mindful that all vendors will be setting up during this time, plan accordingly

Venue Information

  • The venue holds 100 booths inside and 5 food trucks spots outside
  • Capacity: 1000
  • No electricity outlets will be provided
  • Prohibited Items include: tents, balloons, glitter, bubbles, firearms, large retractable banners, weapons of any kind or open flames
  • Coolers are prohibited for booth vendors inside the venue
  • Each vendor is allowed ONE 6ft table & two chairs which will be provided for you. You are responsible for bringing your own tablecloth
  • No smoking inside the building (There will be a designated smoking area outside)

Submission Requirements

  • Applications will be accepted from 1/25/20 to 10/27/20
  • Application & booth fees, food permit, booth, product and table setup pictures must be submitted together
  • Food vendors will need to add Black Connections on their insurance for the day as a secondary
  • All vendors must pay the vendor fee and fill out the registration form to be able to vend
  • If you are caught vending without paying both the fee and filling out the registration form you will be escorted out
  • **Application fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled, or your business category is full**

Fee

  • Booth Fee: Early Bird $80.00 - Regular Fee: $100.00
  • Food Truck: Early Bird $140.00 - Regular Fee $160.00

Vendor Obligations:
Dress code- Business Attire No tank tops, leggings, sweatpants, jumpsuits, ripped jeans or shirts

  • Vendors must remain on site for the entire Festival (i.e. 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.). Those vendors not remaining on site until 3:00 p.m. will be subject to a $75 fine and may not be invited to participate in future events
  • This is a networking event it's your responsibility to network with vendors & customers in order to market your service or product. Do not solicit help from neighboring booths as they have their own table to run
  • Vendors are limited to 3 people at each booth
  • No children at booths unless it's your business
  • One business per table
  • On the day of the event each vendor will be given a wrist band for accountability
  • Do not block or move any furniture within the venue
  • All vendors are prohibited from using large retractable banners as marketing material
  • No signs, unless they are on your table
  • Rowdy behavior or disorderly conduct will NOT be tolerated
  • Military Retirees Club and each vendor is responsible for advertising this event
    - Make sure your mailing address is correct because everyone will be mailed 25 flyers along with a digital copy of the flyer
  • Artists who will be painting will need to bring their own easel, drop cloth, and table
  • All Vendors are responsible for keeping their space attractive during expo hours and for cleaning up their space after the expo ends including removal of garbage and sweeping up all debris
  • Booth Vendors whose products generate waste must provide a trash container (small enough to sit on table) for customer use and remove trash from site
  • Food Vendors must provide appropriate containers for water, and follow all health code regulations when handling produce and prepared foods

Termination:
Black Connections LLC reserve the right to contact law enforcement to remove all violators If a vendor violates any of the above rules and regulations agreed upon you will be escorted out with no refund issued.
